Altamura, November 18, 2025 – Assisi Pax International has officially taken part in the ceremony marking its adherence to the “City of Taranto Peace Document”, held at the Palazzo di Città on October 27, 2025, in the presence of the President of the City Council, Dr. Giovanni Liviano.
The initiative represents an important step forward in the ongoing collaboration between the association and local institutions, united by the shared goal of promoting a culture of peace.
Assisi Pax International was represented by the Head of the President’s Private Secretariat, Nicola Lobosco, who signed the document, and the Deputy Head of Secretariat, Raffaele Lobosco. Welcoming them was a delegation of Taranto members: Riccardo D’Anzi (Coordinator), Francesco Moscato (Deputy Coordinator), and Antonio Vacca.
During the meeting, participants discussed future prospects for cooperation between the Municipal Administration and Assisi Pax International, expressing hope for joint initiatives dedicated to peace, coexistence, and social fraternity.
Reinforcing the importance of the event was a phone greeting from the President of Assisi Pax International, Gerardo Navazio, who conveyed his appreciation for the work carried out and for the association’s renewed commitment to promoting universal values of peace.
With this adherence, Assisi Pax International reaffirms its active presence in the Apulian region and its support for institutional initiatives aimed at building a more harmonious and responsible society.
